Handmade on the Mornington Peninsula

The Coastal Crafter

One of a kind pieces made from shells, sea glass, driftwood, coral and sea urchins foraged along the Australian coastline.

Hi, I'm Dianne

My story starts on the road. While travelling around Australia I found myself collecting little treasures from every beach we stopped at, shells, sea glass, driftwood, pieces of coral, sea urchins. Each one felt too beautiful to leave behind.

Along the way I started crafting cards and little pictures from my finds and sending them home to loved ones. When family and friends kept telling me the same thing, you should really sell these, I finally listened. That nudge became a stall at my local market, and The Coastal Crafter was born.

Everything I make is handmade and one of a kind. The ocean supplies the materials, and no two are ever alike, so no two finished pieces are either.

New pieces, upcoming market dates and finds fresh from the beach all go up on Instagram. It is the best place to see what I am making and where to find my stall.
